Our favorite time of year is Christmas. We love the music, lights, church, family and friends. One way we also capture the magic is through our Christmas card tradition. Every year, we try to do something fun to capture the spirit of Christmas to share with our loved ones.

Nick enjoyed a blessed childhood, growing up alongside his younger brother in a loving home with both his parents. One of Nick’s fondest family memories are trips to beach with extended family. He loved cooking alongside his aunts and uncles and spending time playing on the beach. He enjoyed playing sports as a child and fell in love with golf at a young age. Both Nick and his brother spent lots of time with their dad on the golf course. In fact, his first job was picking up golf balls at one of the local courses. Nick continues to have a close relationship with his parents and brother and enjoys spending time with them often.

Like most, Jennie’s experiences growing up have influenced and shaped the values she holds most dear for her family. One of her fondest memories as young child is spending time at her grandmother’s home and swimming in the pool with her parents, brother, and cousins. Swimming quickly became one of her favorite activities and has so many great memories of swim meets with her mom. Jennie’s parents’ divorced during college, which created a unique challenge for her as young adult. She took on the responsibility of caregiver for her Dad, which she felt unprepared for. This experience caused her to grow up fast and forced her to learn how to care for a sick and aging parent. Although this was one of the toughest things she has had to experience, she also gained many life lessons that has shaped the person she is today. After his passing she was thankful for the opportunity to help him and deepen their love.

Nick and Jennie both have a huge heart for strays and have been providing a loving home to their four-legged babies since they were dating. These cuties are part of the family and are well-loved and spoiled rotten! - Amelia - Cat - Louise - Cat - Rickie - Cat - Frank - Dog - Kali - Dog

We moved into our house shortly after Sloane was born. Since then, our basement has been transformed into a playroom filled with dress-up clothes, art supplies, and endless imagination. Our kitchen has welcomed numerous friends and family over the years. The front lawn has been the backdrop for two themed birthday parties—one with mermaids and pirates, and another inspired by Frozen. From slip and slides and sand pits to barbecues with fire pits and s’mores, a jungle gym, and casual dinners on the patio, our home has embraced us from the start and continues to do so. With five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms we have room to grow, both within our house and in our hearts.

42” | Brown Hair | Brown Eyes | Georgia Sloane loves to play dolls. She is also enjoying going to big girl school. Her favorite classes are recess, math and science. Sloane loves to sing and dance and perform while we are having dinner. "Sloane has changed our lives for the better. She is loving, compassionate, and fierce. My heart melts when she holds my hands." -Jennie "Sloane is my sidekick for adventures. Whether it’s traveling, playing golf or shopping, we always have fun together. Sloane has a great sense of humor and is very honest. She always tells her mom when I ‘sneak’ her doughnuts or toys." -Nick

5’10” | Brown Hair | Hazel Eyes | North Carolina Nick has always had a desire to own his own business, and he made that a reality within ten years after college. Nick enjoys the challenges and success of running a family business with his brother. When Nick is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, volunteering with church, and playing golf with friends. "He’s the best. He flips me upside down and he plays with me at the pool. He loves to play dolls and he plays funny. Dad tickles a lot and loves me." -Sloane "Nick is our rock. I’m always so impressed with his motivation and drive with his business. Everything he does is for our family. Nick is also the best Dad and shares the parenting responsibilities with me. He always takes Sloane to school and puts her to bed. He’s also a good cook! I love being by his side." -Jennie

5’5” | Brown Hair | Hazel Eyes | Florida - Jennie loves helping people both personally and professionally. She enjoys her work, and understands the importance of balance with both work and family. Jennie’s favorite thing is spending time with her family and friends. She loves to find time to savor a good book. Jennie also enjoys doing new things. Right now it’s learning to play the piano and finding ways to get more involved in church. "She is a mom that takes care of me and wants me to be healthy. She’s kind, loving and thoughtful.
