Hello

We are so excited to become parents, and we feel adoption is a beautiful way for that dream to come true.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little and consider us as adoptive parents for your child. We cannot thank you enough for giving us this opportunity to reach out to you through this booklet. We are so impressed by your selflessness and courageous act of love.

We come from great and loving families full of joy and energy! It has been our dream for a very long time to become parents and to share all the love and care with our future children. For us, the path to parenthood has been a little bumpy, but the ups and downs have brought us together every time. If we are fortunate enough to be chosen by you, we promise that your child will be loved and cherished. We are so excited to become parents, and we feel adoption is a beautiful way for that dream to come true.

Our Story

Michael and I have been through a lot on our quest to become parents, but every time that we felt sad about something, we have had each other to cheer each other on and lift each other up.

.
We met in October of 2001; soon after we started dating, we quickly fell in love and became inseparable. Michael was stationed in the USMC in California, and I was studying English and working part-time as an assistant teacher in a Christian Day Care school. A few years later, on June 11th, 2004, we got married in Mexico in a very small wedding. After a few years and a few deployments overseas, we moved and began trying to build our family, as it has always been our dream to become parents.

We began facing lots of challenges in trying to get pregnant. Soon after, we realized we could not conceive, so we looked for medical help. After several fertility treatments, IVFs, and lots of failed attempts, we decided that maybe we would take some time to meditate and find a different path to become parents.

Sometime after, we decided to look into adoption. We were familiar with the idea, and we had talked about it before and felt that God was leading us in that direction. We want nothing more than to be parents and provide all the love and opportunities that we can to a child.

Michael and I have been through a lot on our quest to become parents, but every time that we felt sad about something, we have had each other to cheer each other on and lift each other up. We are each other's best friends, confidants, and we are so blessed to have found one another and built the life we have together!

We are so excited about adopting and having the opportunity to pass along to a child all the love and care that we received from our own families.

We have great families on both sides that are very supportive of us and will be welcoming of a child into their lives. Michael is a very accomplished Security Protective Executive who has worked all his life protecting people all around the world, and he is so ready to protect his own child and teach them all the things his father passed on to him. I am so lucky to have a supportive husband who allows me to stay home and be a mother 24/7, something that I’m so looking forward to doing.

Love can build mountains.
How we will speak of adoption in our home...

Families are built on love, and being a family is about caring for and supporting each other, regardless of how we came together.

Michael and our nephew George
Adoption is a beautiful journey that some families have the privilege to embark on together. Our family is ready to take that journey with our future child if you were to choose us. Explaining the adoption story to our child will be very important to us, and we will tell them their story with kindness, care, and honesty.

As people of faith, we believe we should be truthful with our child about how lucky we were to have been chosen by their birth mother/parents and how God was part of bringing us all together. Our child will always know that we were chosen by their amazing birth mom/parents, and what a gift that was to us. So we could become a family, and that courageous and selfless decision will always be something we admire and cherish about her/them.

Families are built on love, and being a family is about caring for and supporting each other, regardless of how we came together.
Our Hopes for the Future

We hope to provide every opportunity and support for this child to become a wonderful human.

.
We hope that you will give us the opportunity to love and raise your child and give him/her all the care and love that we have to give. We promise you that your little angel will be loved and cherished every day as they grow. We hope to provide every opportunity and support for this child to become a wonderful human.

We cannot imagine the big sacrifice that you are choosing to make at this moment, but we can promise you that if you are to pick us and place your child with us, it would be the biggest honor and blessing, and we will be forever grateful. We are looking forward to hopefully building a relationship with you through this adoption, and we are more than ready to be first-time parents. Our hearts look forward to loving your baby if you choose us.

Thank you
Michael & Millie

Our Adventures

We love making memories and making each other laugh. One of the things that we love the most is making memories. We are lucky enough to be able to travel. Since Michael and I met, we have talked about traveling around the world!. While he was in the Marines, he had the opportunity to travel through Asia and the Middle East, but once we started dating, we created our memories traveling together. We have been in several cities and towns around the US, but Montana and Wyoming are some of our favorite states to visit; nature is just all over, and we cannot get enough every time we visit. We have had the opportunity to travel outside the US, to places like London, Amsterdam, Prague, Austria, Budapest, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina, Nicaragua, Canada, etc. We have had so many adventures while visiting those places and met so many great people while traveling that we will have to create one chapter per city to share all our memories. We have been so lucky that some of the trips we have done have been able to be with our parents and families. Having been able to come on our trips has been fun and full of memories that we will never forget. We are looking forward to sharing more trips with our child. We believe that children expand their horizons when they can go to new places and meet fun people from around the world. "LOVE is what really makes an adoptive family. There are not mistakes. You are wanted, loved, and chosen to be in our forever family." -Mardie Caldwell.

Our thoughts on work, play, and education...

Education is a big conversation for Michael and me. We believe that it is the most important issue. We believe that a child needs to be nurtured and guided by the parents all through school and beyond, so they can become a good person. At the beginning of the child’s life, it is important to find what the child’s abilities are so those abilities can be nurtured and developed over time. “Children are little sponges that absorb everything, so it is important to provide them with a good environment where they know they are loved, understood, and challenged.” We are prepared to provide the best opportunities for our child in every way. We are looking forward to being great parents and allowing our child to thrive in life.

This is Home - A safe place where we can be ourselves

This is our home sweet home. A home that we were lucky to purchase just a couple of years ago, and remodeled before we moved in. This home is a long-time dream of ours; a dream to find a ranch home with some acres to eventually have a small farm for our family. In the future, we will be able to have some small animals and a garden so we can plant some veggies and teach our children the small things in life that make life worth living: family, home, and the love for each other. Michael and I purchased this small ranch a couple of years ago. We always wanted to live in a small town surrounded by nature, big oak trees, and wildlife. We enjoyed having a cup of coffee with each other on the weekends outside on our back porch while watching the families white-tailed deer just walking around the fields. We love our home, and we cannot wait to share this home with our future child. We are looking forward to the future and being able to start getting our small farm going; maybe we will start with a couple of chickens and goats, and perhaps a mini donkey and a small garden so we can grow some veggies.

Our Love for Each Other

THE LOVE STORY - Our love story is a unique story, full of love and g rea t adven t u re s a l ong the way. Ups and downs, bu t a l ways l ov i ng each other. OUR WEDDING DAY - In June 2004, we eloped to Mexico and got married. Twenty years later, we remarried through the church in a beautiful ceremony. OUR INTEREST - We love traveling and taking road trips every time we have time off work. We have been lucky to be able to visit different places all around the world. We love the outdoors, but the places that we love the most are the ones that are by the ocean; being surrounded by water just makes us feel so relaxed and gives us a sense of peace. One of our favorite places to go and just soak up the sun is the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The beaches are just so amazing, and the people are so nice and happy. We are fortunate to be able to travel as much as we do and have Michael’s job flexibility to work remotely when he needs to. We have a lot of friends and family who live in different parts of the world that we visit and would like to continue to do so, but in the future with our child. I hope we can make this dream come true.
