Leela from Vermont

My favorite things: I like coloring and drawing. I love my family members and being a big sister. I love all animals. I love swimming and celebrating holidays. My favorite thing to celebrate is my birthday. I like to dress up and do nails and hair. I love to be silly. Things I do not like: I do not like screaming, unless someone is sad. I do not like yelling. I do not want people in my house to drink alcohol or smoke. Favorite Foods: Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts, chocolate and Oreos, eggs with cheese, cottage cheese, alfredo sauce, mint/peppermint gum, and fruit salad. I also like boxed mac and cheese, Oreo ice cream, and cotton candy ice cream. I also like purple, grape-flavored cotton candy. My favorite Jolly Ranchers are the grape ones. I also like Twix bars. I like to make food and go out to restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What I want in a family: I want a mom and a dad. I want to live in both a big and a small town, I like having neighbors. I want to go on vacation with a family, I don’t like boats but I would try going on a cruise. It is important that someone in my family knows how to take care of my hair. What I want families to know about me: I am good at helping babies when they cry and I am good with pets. I love, love, love Chuck E. Cheese. I love my grandma and my little sister. What we want families to know about the youth: Leela is an exceptionally passionate human. Her love for other people and animals is incredibly deep. She wants to be a nurse, doctor, or veterinarian when she grows up. She has recently been in touch with the side of her family who is Black.
